Medical Summary 9/22/16Check abnormal eye – per owner has had eye problem for a while Microchip scan neg. O: BARH. Very friendly and social. mm=lt pink, moist, CRT<2 s EENT: OD – markedly enlarged globe, pupil dilated, not visual. No discharge, mild scleral injection. Not painful on palpation. OS – WNL. Oral: Good dental condition, all adult teeth erupted. ABD: Palpation NSF. UG: Female. Integ: Full, clean haircoat. A: Severe exopthalmos OD, eye is non-painful. DDX: Chronic glaucoma, congenital abnormality, previous trauma, less likely tumor due to young age of cat. P: Rec placement and enucleantion of OD. Prognosis excellent with appropriate treatment. Applied Activyl, Gave Pyrantel 0.7 ml PO.
