05/17/17 18:43 Basic information: Luka was brought in as a stray. The finder found Luka on her window sill; the finder placed Luka in a cardboard box and brought Luka to the shelter. Luka struggled with the finder when she attempted to put the cat in the box No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Luka had tense, stiff body. Luka allowed himself to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured and placed in a cat kennel.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 5/18/17- Friendly, allows handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 5/18/17- Dozing at the back, snuggled up with blanket. Lay in place when door opened, allowed all pets, then stretched and came to the front, soft eyes and body. Leaned and arched into pets, purred. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Luka immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Luka remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Luka head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Luka interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
