08/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Luckster was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Luckster was curled up at the front of the kennel with his eyes closed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Luckster hisses and slowly inches away with his tail at his side. Reaction to cage door opening: Luckster remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Luckster hisses when you approach him and looks around wary of his surroundings. His body is tense when touched and he slowly warms up to contact. He appreciates attention and slowly leaned in for rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Luckster is a bit tense when held and curls up tight in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Luckster may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
