Lonnie came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was timid at intake but allowed all handling and restraint during his initial medical examination. Reaction to assessor: Lonnie is at the front of his cage, playing with a toy. Reaction to cage door opening: Lonnie moves toward the back of his cage. Reaction to touch: Lonnie steps into his litterbox and rolls onto his side. He allows the assessor to pet him on the head and body, and to pick him up gently in his cage.
