SAFE 8/8/17 THIS SWEET LITTLE GAL HAS 3 VIDEOS! 4 year old Lolanti was dumped for moving. Her owner said she had glaucoma and was going blind and there was nothing they could do for her. Lolanti needs to see an opthamologist for evaluation. She needs a new furever home where she won’t be abandoned again.

Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: Microchip noted on Intake? History : Previous owner had pt for 3 years. “Client stated she took her to the vet 2 years ago and was told she was going blind and there was nothing they could do for her.” Suspected glaucoma – no documentation. Subjective: Settled in kennel – looks around when I open the door and talk to her. Allows minimal exam of head but then growls and hisses when I auscult. Unable to complete exam. Objective BAR-H, MMs pink and moist, BCS 6/9 EENT: OU irregular corneal opacity in a lacey pattern, covering 90% of the cornea. Mild blepharospasm, especially OD. Mild thin purulent discharge from OD. No chemosis, conjunctival injection. Unable to palpable the globes with both hands due to behavior but the globes did not appear to be buphthalmic. Ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Mild tartar and gingivitis PLN: No significant enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Tense, difficult to palpate due to behavior U/G: Reported female – unable to confirm MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment 1. Corneal opacities, mild discharge OD – R/O edema, infiltrates, deposits 2. Mild dental disease Plan 1. CBC/chemistry 2. Recommend exam by ophthalmologist Prognosis: Overall health: fair prognosis. Vision: poor prognosis SURGERY: Okay for surgery 1088
