SAFE 12/23/17 Declawed Average Senior girl Little is ready to relax in a new home. LITTLE is a 15 year old girl whose owner dumped at the shelter right before the holidays!! She has something causing discomfort in her hind end and needs an x-ray and further medical eval. LITTLE also has an early cataract, heart murmur and dental issues. Please help this friendly senior get out of the shelter asap and into a home where she can get the care she needs.

Resting in litter box, soft eyes and body. Meowed quietly on approach. Stood and came forward when door opened, head-butted, leaned and arched into pets, purred. Ate offered treats. Ideal event cat.

Basic Information:
Little is approximately a 15 year old female gray tabby and white cat. Little lived with previous owner for about 12 years before moving in with owner’s granddaughter after her owner passed away. Little lived with new owner for about 3 years and was surrendered because the resident cat was not getting along with her. Little has no injuries or health issues and has not seen a vet recently.

Little is friendly around strangers. Little will approach strangers and rub her body on their legs and will allow to be petted.
How is this cat around children?
Little previously lived with children aged 8, 9 and 12 years old. Little is friendly and will allow to be petted and picked up.
How is this cat around other cats?
Little previously lived with spayed 4 year old cat. The other cat would hiss at Little and Little would run away.
How is this cat around dogs?
Little has never interacted with dogs.
Behavior Notes
Little has never been bathed and has only had her nails trimmed by a vet. Little is not bothered when her coat is brushed and enjoys being picked up and held. Little was not bothered when being put into a carrier as she was lured in with some treats. Little has never been disturbed while she rests.

For a New Family to Know
Little is a friendly, affectionate, confident, and talkative cat. Little likes to follow you around and likes to lay on a suitcase. Little was kept as an indoors only and was fed wet food twice a day. Little would sleep on top of a suitcase that was kept in a bedroom. Little was litter box trained and used an uncovered litter box with Fresh Step cat litter. Little did not have a scratching post but would not scratch on furniture. Instead she would scratch on cardboard boxed.
Behavior Notes:
Upon intake, Little came out of the carrier on her own. She allowed me to pet her and collar her. Little would arch up her back when I pet her and allowed me to pick her up and place her in her kennel.
