MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
4/3/18 Observed Behavior -escaped from box during admissions; regresses and tenses when approached, will flee; used net for exam
ENRICHMENT NOTES:
4/4/18
Curled up asleep in litter box, woke and became alert when door opened, eyes fully dilated. Started lip licking and shifting away when offered treats, avoiding eye contact. Flattened ears, tried to strike when shown assess-a-hand. Ate treats when left alone for a while.

Briefly at the front, eating wet food. Became alert on approach, tense, eyes wide and dilated. Slowly retreated into den, peeked through holes. Retreated to back of den when door opened, hissed and struck den wall when offered treats, started growling.

Lillian becomes alert with eyes wide open, normal shape pupils.

Lillian remains crouched position with head up, ears erect and forward.

Lillian sniffs the assessor’s hand, but remains wary and slowly increases distance further into the den. She briefly accepts the touch on the head from inside, but tucks her head in and shows no interest with the interaction.

Owner has never tried bathing, trimming of nails, or brushing of coat. She struggles to be picked up and held. She isn’t bothered with placing in carrier. Owner described her as friendly, shy, and quiet. She does not play with toys. She eats dry food Friskies. She uses an uncovered litterbox with clumping litter. she scratches of walls and wood doors.
Behavior Notes:
Upon intake, Lillian hissed and swatted inside the carrier she was in. she did not allow counselor to scan or collar. Her ears were straight back and eyes dilated. Lillian had a tense body counselor did not handle.
