I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/26/2015 from NY 11203, owner surrender reason stated was OWNER DIED. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-043616.

Liby was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Liby makes eye contact near the front of the kennel and starts stretching. Reaction when softly spoken to: Liby comes forward slowly and reaches out with her paws. Reaction to cage door opening: Liby is calm and relaxed as the door opens. Reaction to touch: Liby allows petting but is more interested looking around and exploring her environment. She eventually leans in for attention. Reaction to being picked up: Liby has a soft body and is calm and relaxed when held. Behavior Determination: Average Liby interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
