11/11/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Liberty looked tense, crouched position on his cage bedding with head up when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Liberty engaged the front of the cage, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Liberty did not allow the stroke then swats and hisses the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Liberty is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
