Subjective:BAR, hydrated
Observed Behavior – timid, needs firm restraint for exam and treatments.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen -no

EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: negative oral.
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: female intact
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

KNOWN HISTORY:
Liam was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
Timid, needs firm restraint for exam and treatments.
Cage Condition:
Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor:
Liam was curled up in the back of the cubby with wide eyes focused on the assessor.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Liam slow blinks then looks around and scans her surroundings.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Liam remains calm.
Reaction to touch:
Liam lowers her body and appears hesitant at first but instantly warms up when touched. She purrs, nuzzles against the assessor’s hand then comes forward and solicits attention. She rolls around playfully when rubbed and allows petting all over.
Reaction to being picked up:
Liam is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. She continues purring then starts kneading in the air.
