This fellow is quiet and a bit shy, but whoever said that shelter life is exciting? With loving cat parents and a forever home, Leo is bound to be all he’s meant to be…….NEUTERED and 3 years old, LEO would LOVE to be out of the shelter and would blossom in a loving home!! 03/16/16 15:25 Basic Information: Leo is a 4yr old male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issue that the owner is aware of. Socialization: According to the owner Leo takes well to strangers and interacts with them just fine. He comes from a home with children and and he interacts with them in a gentle manner. Leo has also lived with other cats (male & female) and according to the owner he got along with them in a playful gentle manner. Leo has been around dogs and he is very respectful of them and plays just fine. Leo has never bitten a person or another animal. Behavior: Leo takes well to grooming agents like recieving a bath, triming of his nails, and the brushing of his coat. These agents can be performed with little to no struggle. Leo likes to be held and when being put in a cat carrier for transport Leo is fine. For a New Family to Know: Leo is described to friendly, playful, and affectionate with a low to medium activity level. When in the home Leo is the type of cat that will follow you around seeking attention, sit on you, or be in the same room. Leo will play with all sorts of cat toys and has no preference on the type of toy. Leo was given both wet/dry food and the brand the owner gave was Friskies. Leo is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Leo used a hooded litter and clumping litter. Leo did have a scratching post and he used it pretty often.

Reaction to touch: Leo allows petting and attention. Placement Determination: Experience Leo does not approach the assessor and remains neutral during handling, and he may be stressed in the shelter environment.
