Medical Summary Hx: single kitten from community brought in because it has ruptured globe secondary to conjunctivitis S/O approx 8 weeks old mm lgt pk, tacky; deciduous dentitia consistent with age no nasal discharge OD-mild to moderate conjunctivitis OS-severe proptosis/rupture; tissue hanging from socket poss grade II/VI heart murmur eupnic, normal lung sounds in all fields soft abdomen slightly dirty/unthrifty hair coat with flea debris BCS 3/9 female A pale mm-r/o flea anemia vs secondary to pain vs other ruptured globe/proptosis OS conjunctivitis OD thin BCS P hydromorphone 2 mg/ml: 0.04 ml SQ/IM TID until placement 20 ml SQF SID x 3 days continue doxycycline, erythromycin rec’d enucleation OS ASAP
