**SAFE 07/04/16** Is fear a justifiable reason to kill a cat? The ACC thinks so, and they plan to kill her tomorrow, as a matter of fact. June has been Adopt A Shelter Cat month at the ACC and their Facebook wall has been full of self-congratulatory posts about the animals they have adopted. Perhaps they were too busy patting themselves on the back, to spend time and effort in trying to help LAVA feel more at home. This baby girl is only 12 months old, she’s scared out of her mind, but she is not an untamable kitty; she is not an unloveable kitty. She is just, possibly, not an instantly huggable kitty; she is just, possibly, a kitty who appreciates a slow approach from the people around her. The only way tomorrow ends well for LAVA, is if a NEW HOPE rescue steps up for her tonight. Please spare a kind thought and some extra effort for this cat , whom the ACC has washed their hands of…..
