09/28/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Larry looked tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Larry remained in place, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Larry did not allow stroke then retreated with ears back and began to hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Larry is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
