ENRICHMENT NOTES:
2/21/18
Just moved into new cage, extremely agitated. At the front, eyes fully dilated, whiskers forward, ears sideways, hissing and swatting between the bars. Played energetically when given mouse toy, seemed to calm down slightly. Covered cage, left alone for now.
2/22/18
By the front, sitting upright, curious looking around and extending his arm for attention. When door is opened he briefly sniffs the hand, allows the petting but eyes widen then paws with claws (playing rough).
3/20/18
At the front on approach, eyes a little dilated, very alert, seemed curious. Started rubbing against and reaching through the bars when spoken to. Stood when door opened, briefly leaned and arched into pets, then hissed and repeatedly patted assess-a-hand without claws. Played enthusiastically when given ping pong ball toys. Very high energy, seems to overstimulate easily.
3/21/18
Came to the front on approach, soft eyes, a little tense, alert. Started rubbing against and reaching through the bars, stayed at the front when door opened. Initially leaned enthusiastically into pets, then started to roll over and chew on assess-a-hand. Appeared to be rough play, but minor hissing when attempted to remove assess-a-hand from cage.
