SAFE 4/29/18 LADY SOFTPAWS is a sweet girl whose owner dumped at the shelter. She is already spayed but has a URI. Lady Softpaws is also a bit dehydrated. She is already spayed and ready for a new furever home this time.

EENT: Eyes clear, mild brown waxy debris au, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: moderate dental disease with oligodontia
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: FS (spay tattoo noted on ventrum), no MGTs, no vulvar d/c
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Gave 75ml SQ once, recheck hydration tomorrow
Prognosis: Excellent
SURGERY: spayed
Recheck hydration, dehydrated on intake exam
S/O: BAR. ~5% dehydration. Fresh food available.
EENT: Pink mm, mild gingivitis, mild dental staining, mild to moderate conjunctivitis OU (L>R), mild clear mucoid nasal discharge
HL: Normal thoracic auscultation
ABD: Soft, non tender
INTEG: full coat
MS: Ambulatory x 4
UG: Spayed
A: Moderate URI, dehydration
P: Move to ISO. Rec doxycycline 0.6ml PO q24 x 10 days, LRS 100ml SQ q24 x 3 days, fortiflora q24 x 3 days, vit B12 0.24ml SQ q24 x 3 days. Good prognosis
