We don’t know much else about her other than she is a sweet and petite 7 lb. girl who is one of 27 precious lives in peril this evening. 08/11/16 17:05 Lady Bug has not seen a vet since with her owner. She can be shy sometimes when first meeting somenone but she acclimates to them very fast within minutes and will start to solicit attention. Lady Bug has lived with a 8 year old and a12 year old. She played well with them and is gentle. Lady Bug has lived with a chihuahua and a female cat. She played with both of them and got along wel with both the cat and the dog. Lady Bug sometimes paws fabric but has a vertical scratch post that is made of carpet material. She uses her litter well. She uses fresh scent litter with a covered litter box. She has never been given a bath or had her nails trimmed but she has been brushed and really enjoys that. She does not mind being held for short periods of time. Lady Bug has a high activity level while at homke and likes to run around and play with the kids or other animals in the home. She goes outside and inside the house at will, she is given free reign of the house and outside. Lady Bug has a cat bed that she sleeps in and doesn’t often follow her owner around unless she knows she is going to be fed. She was fed 9 lives wet food and meow mix dry food. Lady Bug was very timid during intake but allowed all handling, she hides her face and turns away but allows herself to be picked up and photographed and collared.

Lady Bug’s previous owner reports she can be shy sometimes when meeting someone, but acclimates to them quickly and will solicit attention. She has lived with two children and is gentle when playing with them. She has also lived with a Chihuahua and a female cat, and got along well with them both. She does not mind being held for a short period of time and was reports to have a high activity level, running around and playing with the children and other animals in the home. Reaction to assessor: Lady Bug was curled up by the corner with her tail wrapped closely to her body. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lady Bug looks at the assessor and blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Lady Bug remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Lady Bug sniffs the assessor’s hand and accepts touch. She curls up a little more initially, but relaxes after and leans in for petting. She meows softly and appears unsure, but she seems to appreciate attention. Reaction to being picked up: Lady Bug remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Lady Bug tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
