GONE 11/24/17 Poor KOVU was brought in with a sticky substance all over his body. He was lethargic and hypothermic but KOVU is a very sweet boy. He has possible chemical burns on his lips and is being monitored for any sign of ingesting chemical. KOVU needs a special purrson to give him a home and some TLC and vet care til he can recover from whatever his ordeal was. Sweet KOVU is about 6 yrs old and already neutered. Please help him today!

-QAR, lethargic but interactive when approached; very sweet boy
-mm pk/pigmented, sl tacky; CRT 2 sec; mild hypersalivation
-ulceration along lips and maxillary symphysis
-OU: moderate blepharospasm, no apparent corneal damage
-partially shaved with minimal dermal irritation secondary to sticky substance but multiple areas of fur that are still covered; in these areas, the patches of hair fall out when gentle traction
-eupnic, HR 140 bpm
-soft abdomen
-ambulatory x 4 with no apparent lameness
