Kokomo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Kokomo was resting in his cubby. Reaction when softly spoken to: Kokomo makes eye contact but doesn’t come forward. Reaction to cage door opening: Kokomo lip licks and remains in place. Reaction to touch: Kokomo leans forward to sniff the assessor’s hand and allows petting all over. He comes out his cubby and lightly brushes up for attention. Reaction to being picked up: Kokomo becomes tense when held then gets antsy and leaps away. Behavior Determination: Average Kokomo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
