ENRICHMENT NOTES:
05/02/18
Keeps body lowered, turns her head away when the cage door opens. Very tense, but tolerates petting all over body. Remained completely immobile throughout interaction. Sniffs treats and shows interest, but isn’t confident enough to come forward and eat. Needs more time to adjust.
05/03/18
Lying beneath kuranda bed, eyes alert and ears forward. Makes eye contact when spoken to. She steps forward to eat treats offered and then focuses on my hand. Greets my hand with a head-butt and allows petting along her head and body while leaning in and raising her tail. Walks right up to her the front of her kennel and peeks outside into the room. Doing much better today!
05/08/18
Lying in cubby, body and face relaxed and ears forward. She vocalizes and stretches out towards me when spoken to. She vocalizes again as I reach towards her and allows all petting while leaning in and beginning to purr. She kneads the edge of her litterbox, face soft. Super sweet polydactyl girl. Showing great improvement!
