Subjective / Observed Behavior – BAR, tries to flee! Allows all handling. Not socialized well.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – none
Evidence of Trauma seen – none
EENT: Eyes crusted shut with mucoid ocular discharge and moderate conjunctivitis, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: normal kitten dentition. no cleft palate
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: No murmur ausculted; CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: grossly normal.
URI, mucoid discharge, conjunctivitis, OU
erythromycin ophthalmic ointment q12h x 5 days
continue to monitor for progressing URI signs and appetite , hydration
Temporary waiver due to illness and weight
