GONE 9/27/17 Poor Kirkland was brought in after she was possibly hit by a car. She is about 6 yrs old. She has head trauma and swelling in the jaw area and front limb lameness. She needs further medical evaluation to determine the extent of injuries. Please help this poor kitty today!

Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 6 years Microchip noted on Intake? scan negative History : stray, possibly hit by a car Subjective: Observed Behavior – QAR, tolerated exam Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen – yes Objective BCS 4/9 EENT: Anisocoria, OD>OS, normal menace and palpebral responses, AU- brown debris, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: moderate dental calc, fractured/loose upper right canine, swelling of rostral mandible and holding mouth slightly open; mm’s pink PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: F, did not check for spay scar MSI: Flea dirt, hair loss and scabs along dorsum, no masses noted, non-weight bearing on left forelimb with paw knuckled over, no pain elicitied on palaption, dried blood seen at RF paw and bearing some weight on right forelimb but apears to be lame on this limb as well; abrasion at proximal tail CNS: mentation appropriate Assessment left forelimb lameness- R/O fracture vs radial nerve injury vs other anisocoria- R/O head trauma vs other swelling of mandible and loose/fractured tooth- R/O head trauma vs other abrasion at tail Plan gave simbadol 0.4 mls SQ gave convenia 0.3 mls SQ recommend transfer for further diagnostics and supportive care ate some canned a/d food gAVE 75 MLS SQ Prognosis: fair to guarded depending on extent of injuries
