PROFILE
04/14/16 21:01
Junior is a 1 1/2 year old Black and white Neutered DSH. He was given to owner as a gift and has been in their care since. He is being surrendered into our care center due to owner moving and not pets being allowed.
With strangers he is friendly and outgoing and plays gentle with adults. He has spent time with children and is relaxed, affectionate and plays gently. Has no experience with being with dogs. There is no known history of him biting another animal or person.
With car rides he is afraid. He rarely has any litter box accidents; he is both pooping and peeing out of the box. A vet hasn’t been seen for the issue; due to the cause only being when the litter box isn’t cleaned. He is afraid when given bath, nails trimmed and coat brushed. He doesn’t like being picked up and held, nor being placed in a carrier.
He is described as being shy with a high activity level. He likes to play with his toy balls and follow his owner around when home. He had a free of choice door to come and go, he slept in his own bed and was free fed dry food. He is litter box trained using an uncovered box with clumping litter. He scratches on furniture or using the cardboard scratching post that was provided.
