SAFE 3/20/18 Jumpa is a 10 year old female brown tabby DSH. Finder has been caring for Jumpa for 1 week.
Jumpa is spayed and ready to find her new loving home.

Jumpa 22649 – 10 year old spayed brown tabby, stray:

ENRICHMENT NOTES:
03/13/18
Lying in back of kennel with a low, tense body, tail wrapped around feet. She vocalizes softly as the cage door opens and tolerates petting briefly before retreating through her portal with a low body and tail. Nervous, needs more time to adjust.
Is this cat having litter box issues?
Yes
Basic Information:
Jumpa is a 10 year old female brown tabby DSH. Finder has been caring for Jumpa for 1 week.
How is this cat around strangers?
Around strangers Jumpa is shy for a few minutes.
How is this cat around children?
Jumpa has not lived with children while with finder.
How is this cat around other cats?
Jumpa lived in the same house as another cat But was kept in separate apartments and they did not interact. Finder was told the cats did not get along. Jumpa goes outside daily and appears to be fine around the cats outside.
How is this cat around dogs?
Jumpa has not lived with dogs while with the finder.
Behavior Notes
Finder did not attempt to give Jumpa a bath or trim her nails. Jumpa was afraid of the carrier and tried to run away but allowed finder to pick her up and place her in. Jumpa is bothered when being picked up and held
Bite history:
Jumpa has no known bite history

low
Medical Notes
Jumpa will bit and lick and her back legs.
For a New Family to Know
Jumpa was described as friendly and quiet. When home with Jumpa she likes to follow you around. Jumpa enjoys playing with balls and strings. Jumpa eats fancy feast wet food and dry food 3 times a day. Jumpa is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Jumpa did not have a scratching post at home and didnt scratch on anything that the finder saw. Jumpa is an indoor and outdoor cat. Jumpa likes to go outside a couple of times a day for 15 to 30 minutes. When its time for bed Jumpa likes to sleep on her cat bed.

Behavior Notes:

Jumpa was talkative during the intake. Jumpa allowed dot be scanned and collared with no problem. Jumpa allowed to be picked up and placed in the kennel. While trying to take Jumpa out of the kennel she began to hiss but allowed counselor to place her in the carrier with a blanket.

Observed Behavior -hissed once, easy to handle

EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam:heavy tartar
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G:female, SS seen
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, barbering and string of small ulcerative lesions right stifle. appears self inflicted
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

Assessment: pruritic skin lesion: EOGN vs allergies vs pyoderma

Prognosis:good

Plan:0.4ml convenia SQ
recc hypoallergenic food if does not resolve
