S: hissing when picked up, but very sweet and compliant post pain meds, not eating

O:

QAR H

EENT: epistaxis, fracture of hard palate and mandible, fractures deciduous canines, OD slight blephrospasm

Int: very nice, clean haircoat

Lnn: WNL

CV: NMA, s&s pulses, pale pink moist mm

Resp: eupnic, inspiratory stertor referred to lung fields

Abd: SNP

UG: male intact, bladder not palpable

MS: 4x ambulatory, BCS 5/9, no palpable fractures in limbs, no pain on palpation of vertebra or neck

Neuro: mentation WNL, no ataxia

A:

mandibular and hard palate fractures suspect hi rise

P:

cwct pain treatment

40ml LRS SQ

IVC at 4ml.hr

px: good with treatment, recommend tape muzzle or ex fix to stabilize jaw, possibly an e-tube if unable to eat

 

Behavior

Jules has not had a behavior evaluation yet but is medical green (tolerates all handling)
