Spay-Neuter Waiver Documentation
Vet Notes: 1:01 PM
[Spay/Neuter Waiver – Age]
It is the policy of ACC not to perform surgery on any animal over the age of 8-10 years due to the higher risks incurred in a shelter setting. The veterinarian is hereby issuing a permanent spay/neuter waiver, from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY due to the estimated age of this animal. ACC does recommend you consult with your veterinarian to determine if surgical sterilization is appropriate.

For a New Family to Know
Juicy is a friendly, mellow, confident and quiet cat. When at home, Juicy will follow you around and likes to be in the same room as you. Juicy was kept as an indoors only cat and slept in his cat bed. Juicy was fed Meow Mix dry food 3 times a day. Juicy is litter box trained and used a hooded box with clumping cat litter. Juicy did not have a scratching post and would scratch on the furniture made out of cloth.
Behavior Notes:
Upon intake, Juicy was tense inside of his carrier as I pet him. Juicy pulled away when I tried to pick him up so I tilted the carrier slowly until he walked out. Juicy remained tense and remained low to the surface. Juicy allowed me to collar him and leaned in as I scratched below his neck. Juicy allowed me to pick him up and place him into his kennel.
