Scanned neg History : Stray, found with the rest of the litter but this kitten was not breathing well so she was brought to ACC Subjective: Mews, alert, allows all handling Objective BAR, MMs pink, BCS 4.5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, black crusting at nares but no active discharge Oral Exam: Erupting deciduous teeth – canines, incisors, PMs PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, RR 54 with visible abdominal excursions. BV sounds are quiet. ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female kitten MSI: Copious flea dirt, some live fleas. Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment: 1. Tachypnea – R/O residual URI vs. congenital respiratory disease vs. congenital cardiac disease vs. other Plan: 1. Chest rads, consider CBC/chemistry Prognosis: Fair 1088
