ACTIVITY LEVEL: Steady VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Independent MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 8/14/17- Subjective: Calm, wide-eyed, allows all handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 8/15/17 Recent mom, heart murmur. Curled up behind litter box, eyes dilated. Briefly sniffed assess-a-hand, stiffened in place when pet. No other response. 8/16/17 Curled up behind litter box, eyes dilated. Shifted in place slightly when pet, held strong eye contact. No other response. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Jolie remains tense, crouched position in her cubby at the back during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Jolie remains in place, alert with eyes wide open, ears erect and forward. Reaction to touch: Jolie accepts the touch, but shows no interest with a blank stare. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Jolie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
