Behavior
Reaction to assessor: Joelle looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to door opening: Joelle remains crouched down at the back, alert with a hard stare.
Reaction to touch: Joelle does not allow the touch, swats and hisses at the head-butts the assessor’s hand.
Placement determination: NH ONLY
Joelle is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
