Meet Jessie: This adorable cutie hasn’t quite learned how to eat on her own just yet, but she takes syringe feedings like a pro! She has some conjunctivitis but with some TLC will be back on her paws in no time. This cutie needs placement by 6pm today, 11/9.

EENT: OU-crusted shut with mucoid discharge, difficult to visualize globe but suspect intact; conjunctivitis; AU-clear; mucoid nasal discharge with congestion
Oral Exam: mm pk, sl tacky; deciduous dentitia
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: soft, nonpainful; doughy
U/G: female
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: grossly normal

URI/conjunctivitis

Plan:
erythromycin OU BID x 10 days
doxycycline 0.1 ml PO SID x 10 days
LRS 15 ml SQ SID x 3 days
force feed until eating on her own
SURGERY: temp waiver due to underage/conjunctivitis/URI
