Profile:
Meet Jay Havana! This beautiful older boy is a neutered male lilac point Siamese cat that was found in front of the finder’s home two weeks ago in the Bronx. The finder took him in because they believe he’s older & used to be a house cat at some point in his life. They stated during his two week stay with them he was well behaved, napped on the couch, sat on the windowsill, got along well with two older cats, had a medium activity level, used a litter box (a little more than the other two the finder stated), ate dry & canned Friskies cat food 2-3x a day, allowed a bath and didn’t scratch on anything in the home. The finder isn’t able to keep Jay Havana any longer due to having the other cats and other issues. They stated Jay Havana is friendly, likes to be pet/held and was placed into a carrier easily to be brought into our BXAC location today.
During intake Jay Havana allowed all handling. He’s very sweet; attempting to climb on me to be held, head butting & purring. Jay Havnana allowed to be collared & taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session, it took me several tries to not get as blurry pictures of him due to Jay Havana making several attempts to jump off the back drop table as well. Jay Havana does indeed seem to enjoy being picked up/held and made himself comfortable in my arms and or on my shoulder. He was then placed into a kennel with ease which was difficult for me as he was so sweet and affectionate.
