*** SAFE 05/02/16 *** EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR JAVA IN THE MORNING!! This JAVA however needs us!! JAVA is only 5 months old and has tested positive for FELV. Being only 5 months old, a re-test needs to be done for a false positive…but is the ACC going to do that? NO. Even though JAVA is a splendid BEGINNER and is already NEUTERED….”Java rolls around and allows all handling. Reaction to assessor: Java comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Java stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Java remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Java solicits petting and attention”…..Even if JAVA tests positive a second time, he can still be a solo cat, a cat with other FELV+ cats and he can live with dogs…..PLEASE CONSIDER WAKING UP WITH THIS JAVA IN THE MORNING!! Apply to FOSTER or ADOPT NOW!! If you need assistance, email us at [email protected]

04/29/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Java and at the time he calm and relaxed. Java rolls around and allows all handling. Reaction to assessor: Java comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Java stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Java remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Java solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Java is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Java was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Java is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
