I am a neutered male gray tabby domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 06/22/2017 from NY 11226, owner surrender reason stated was ALLERGIES.

PE: BARH Exam & surgery performed by Dr. 1167 Feline neuter Anesthesia – 0.15mL Telazol induction. Sx. – Routine scrotal castration. No sutures placed, incisions left open to drain. Green linear tattoo placed on ventral abdomen. 0.97mL Simbadol injectable and 0.73mL Onsior for pain management.

06/22/17 13:49 Jasmine is a 1 year old unaltered Female is a DSH mix; she came to her home as gift and was surrrender due to the owner having severe alleriegies. She was no known health issues or injures and has no vet history. Around strangers Jasmine she is calm and friendly. Jasmine has been around children of age 8 and 5 years old, she is gentle and playful wth the children. She has never been around animals while in the home and has no bite history. During loud noise Jasmine gets neverous and hides. She was does not have a scratching post so she scratches on the wood. She struggle and runs away during bath time and loves being held and picked up. She is feed Dry food of the purina brand 3 times a day. Jasmine is litter-box trained with clumping litter and she loves playing with string toys, balls and cat nip toys.

KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors Previously lived with: Adults and spent time around children (5 & 8 yrs. old) Behavior toward strangers: Calm and friendly Behavior toward children: Gentle and playful Behavior toward cats: Unknown Behavior toward dogs: Unknown Bite or Scratch history: Yes Litter box training: None Energy level/descriptors: Other notes: She didn’t have a scratching post so she scratched on the wood in the home. She loves playing with string toys, balls and cat nip toys. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Calm EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Jas was lying down on his blanket at the back of the cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Jas makes eye contact but doesn’t get up or come forward when coaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Jas lip licks and looks around the cage. Reaction to touch: Jas squints and leans away when the assessor approaches him. He sniffs then moves away into his litter box with his tail lowered. He tolerates touch, lip licks throughout the interaction, has a tense body and doesn’t seem to interested in interacting with the assessor. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced cat parent – Jas may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
