**GONE 01/03/16** ANOTHER CHANCE FOR AWESOME PAWESOME JAMIE–LET’S MAKE IT COUNT!!! Just when you thought you have heard all the effects that may have plagued a cats’ life -you hear about poor JAMIE! 6 month old JAMIE “self- mutilates his tail”. Leaving this baby with an injured tail and an EXPNOCHILD rating. The counselor thinks its possibly due to hyperaethesia and needs further vetting. But as for his behavior that the owner claimed as ” rough”,he was like a baby gentle giant during assessment. He was said to lunge at children and play rough. That’s why the rated is such! PLEASE, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT JAMIE,get him well and in a calm environment and he could thrive just as any other 6 month old would!

12/27/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/27/15 18:51 Jamie was found as a stray kitten in the surrender’s yard about a week ago. Jamie is often found rubbing her head on the windows interacting with the cats in the home. She approaches the family and shows them affection by rubbing on them and purring. Upon intake, Jamie was sitting in the carrier with his paws tucked under his body and slowly blinking his eyes. When the counselor approached, Jamie lifted his head. Jamie would nuzzle the counselor’s hand when pet. He allowed all handling. It was easy to photograph because he sat on the counter without moving.

12/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Jamie comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Jamie stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Jamie remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Jamie solicits petting and attention but he starts to rough play almost immediately. Try picking cat up: Jamie is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Jamie was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Due to Jamie’s rough playing habit he is displaying behavior appropriate for experience cat owners with no children.
