03/05/17 14:06 Jadis A1105383 is a 6yr old female brown tabby DSH feline who was found in a train station staircase near the finder’s home near the Bronx earlier today. They felt bad for her as they stated she was sitting in one position not moving much and they didn’t want her to freeze. The finder isn’t able to keep her but thought it best for her to be brought in to us. The finder stated she was friendly and allowed them to pick her up and place her into a carrier to be brought into our BXAC. During intake Jadis had a soft body/eyes and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. However due to her dull demeanor her picture was taken in her kennel where she appeared livelier. Jadis didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease where she made herself comfy on her towel.

Be sure to offer incentive such as treats or play time whenever the cat makes a small positive step. Please speak to an adoption counselor for additional information on methods to desensitize your cat to their fear stimulus. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: RECOMMENDATIONS: – Experienced cat parent Behavior observations x__ Experience Jadis tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter.
