11/01/16 14:50 Irving is an adult DSH cat. He was lured into a cage with food and brought to ACC because he was spending time in a parking garage. Irving was tense and crouched in the large pop-up crate. He had wide eyes and was looking around. He hissed once after I scanned him (-). We took his pictures in the crate and encouraged him into a feral den.

11/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Irving looks tense, tightly curled up on his cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Irving retreats into his cat den, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Irving avoids contact and attempts to escape the cage. Placement determination: NH ONLY Irving is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
