***SAFE 06/29/16*** INKI is a sweet silky black cat with a wonderful purr-sonality! INKI lived for 8 years in the same home until the owner’s significant other moved in and is allergic, so poor INKI was brought to the shelter where tomorrow he will be killed if he’s not rescued. What a sad situation! INKI is a mellow guy who is full of love and trust. He would make a wonderful pet for a beginner pet home! INKI was full of purrs and love for the person examining him at the shelter. He had soft eyes and allowed all handling. He was content to be picked up and held. He even climbed in the examiner’s lap!! The examiner wrote: “During my lunch I spent some time with INKI, where he climbed gently onto my lap from his kennel, gave me a nose nudge, head butts and sat on my lap while he side swished his tail as I pet him, he also kneaded at times. When it was time to go back in INKI hopped in on his own with a little assistance from me.” What a special guy! Don’t let this cutie die tomorrow! He’s full of love and will make an awesome pet!!!

He isn’t bothered by being picked up/held. Inki hasn’t been given a bath or had his nails trimmed. Inki is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within and has a rough rope/fabric scratching post. Intake Behavior: Inki had a soft body, soft eyes and allowed all handling. He allowed to be picked up/held, scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session. I held him in my arms briefly as I fixed up his bogus paper and he seemed content with lying in my arms, I then placed Inki into the kennel with ease. During my lunch I spent some time with Inki where he climbed gently onto my lap from his kennel, gave me a nose nudge, head butts and sat on my lap while he side swished his tail as I pet him, he also kneaded at times. When it was time to go back in Inki hopped in on his own with a little assistance from me.
