***SAFE 10/21/16*** IDRIS WAS FOUND IN A HALLWAY IN A BRONX APARTMENT BUILDING AND WAS BROUGHT TO THE SHELTER WITH ANOTHER CAT. IDRIS was in the finder’s building with another cat named Irsia A1092153 who is not listed tonight. IDRIS was possibly left behind when his owner moved or maybe just was seeking out shelter. Either way, this person saw that they were friendly, so he put them in bags and brought them to the shelter. IDRIS is AVERAGE rated for being friendly and allowing all petting and handling. He would love a home where he will be loved and cared for. IDRIS needs a hero tonight with so many cats on the list to compete with. WILL YOU BE IDRIS’S HERO? PLEASE SAY YOU WILL ADOPT OR FOSTER THIS BOY AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY!!

10/03/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/03/16 13:32 Idris A1092152 is a 2yr old male white & spots of gray DSH who was found in the finder’s hallway in the Bronx earlier today with his sibling/mate/friend Irsia A1092153 a small female gray tabby DSH feline. The finder was told that someone working in the building was going to throw out the cats and the finder felt bad for them. Since they aren’t able to keep them themselves they thought it best for the duo to be brought in to us at the BXAC. They stated the cats were friendly and allowed them to place them into bags to be brought in. During intake Idris allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Idris didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
