ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted, flea dirt, hair loss, erythema, and scabbing at dorsum and ventral abdomen
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
dermatitis- R/O flea allergy vs other
corneal opacity- R/O scar vs other
moderate dental disease
fleas treated with effipro 8/23/17
Gave convenia injection 0.5 mls SQ (x)
Ichi was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his/her behavior in his/her previous home.
Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Ichi is laying in the litter box resting.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Ichi continues laying in box motionless.
Reaction to cage door opening: Ichi looks up at the assessor and appears relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Ichi allows petting all over. He rolls over exposing his belly and leans on the assessors hand. He begins to lip lick, purr, and head butts the assessors hand to be pet.
Reaction to being picked up: Ichi tolerated being picked up but immediately goes back into his kennel. He lays down in the front of the kennel and leans in for chin rubs.
