01/20/16 12:08 Hulk Hogan was sitting in the carrier with a soft body. When the door was opened he walked out onto the counter. He solicited attention by nuzzling my hand and purring. Several minutes were spent petting Hulk on the counter. During this time, he continued to purr and rolled onto his side and back. He allowed he stomach to be pet as well. He showed this affection throughout the admissions process. After his photo was taken and he was collared, the carrier was placed on the counter and Hulk walked back inside the carrier on his own. He ate the wet food provide to him.

Hulk Hogan was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was sitting in his carrier with a soft body upon intake and nuzzled into the counselors hand, soliciting attention and purring. He showed affection throughout the intake process and allows all handling. He was also friendly and allowed all handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Hulk Hogan was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Hulk Hogan looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Hulk Hogan gets up to greet the assessor and is soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Hulk Hogan head-butts, leans into petting, and begins to purr and drool. His tail quivers from excitement and he starts to eat. Reaction to pick up: Hulk Hogan is tense during pick up, but allows handling. His tail pilo-erects when put back into the cage, but he continues to solicit attention. Placement Determination: Average Hulk Hogan interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
