Approx 3yr
S/O: QAR, Attempted to flee, growled and hissed when restrained. Sedated w/ 0.1ml Telazol.
Right eye: bupthalmic, increased opacity in cornea, deep corneal ulcer, possible foreign body or dried mucous adhered to eye. Anterior uveitis. Cardiothoracic auscultation WNL.
Applied proparacaine and erythromycin ointment
Left : eye ENL
Nose: Severe crusted, mucoid nasal discharge. POssible oronasal fistula
Teeth/mouth: Bloody salivation, grade 3/4 dental disease, ulceration/superficial wound on roof of mouth.
Left leg: Small abscess on medial aspect distal to hock joint, SQ depth. Clipped hair, cleaned w/ chlorhexidine, applied SSD.
Administered Convenia 0.23ml SQ. Burenorphine SR 0.09ml SQ, and 100ml SQ LRS.
FeLV/FIV: negative
A: Corneal ulceration w/ anterior uveitis, small abscess on left hind leg, dental disease and oral ulceration on roof of mouth.
P: Will monitor for appetite. Ofloxacin drops for right eye, clindamycin for mouth, if behavior permits treatment.
Has Convenia and buprenorphine SR administered.
Appears stable for stray wait, will reasses and establish deadline for rescue if not eating.
Recommend NH placement for follow-up veterinary care. Needs enucleation surgery ASAP and dental evaluation and radiographs.
