**SAFE 08/06/16** HOUDINI IS TRUE TO HER NAME…..And she would perform a mystifying feat of escape if she could……HOUDINI came in with a group of other cats from a colony….While the colony caretaker gets an A for feeding, they get an F for not spaying and neutering….When will people learn??? This young ebony lady is only a year old. She is fearful not agressive……PLEASE TAKE A STAND FOR HER TONIGHT!! Apply to FOSTER with a NEW HOPE rescue and give HOUDINI a reason to stick around…..PATIENCE can work wonders…..PLEASE HELP HOUDINI BEFORE NOON TOMORROW!!

Animal’s demeanor with you – The cat tried to flee the carrier and was at the back of the cage. The cat did not allow all handling. The finder is a colony care giver of approximately 15 cats. She provides food and shelter for the colony that keeps reproducing.

Reaction to assessor: Houdini is hiding in her den. Reaction when softly spoken to: Houdini looks at the assessor with wide eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Houdini visibly tenses. Reaction to touch: Houdini moves away from touch and attempts to flee the cage. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Houdini avoids interaction with the assessor and does not allow handling. Houdini is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
