Profile
BASIC INFO
Happy is an adult female DSH cat. Her family got her from her previous owner 5 years ago and surrendered her due to cost. Happy has been vomiting 1-2 times per day for the past 5 months. Her owner has tried multiple foods including dry and wet food. She thinks she vomits more when she eats wet food.
SOCIALIZATION
Happy is friendly/outgoing with new people. She spent time with children and is relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. She plays exuberantly with people. She hasn’t spent time with other pets. She hasn’t bit/scratched anyone.
BEHAVIOR
Happy meowed from her basket in the car but was relaxed while sitting next to her owner. She struggles during baths initially but then becomes more tolerant and her owner is able to finish her bath. She doesn’t mind being picked up, held, woken up, or put in a carrier.
FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW
Happy’s family describes her as friendly, affectionate, playful, quiet, and medium energy. She follows her owner, sits in her lap, and likes to eat at the table with her. She played with wand toys with her owner. She lived inside and slept on a cat bed. She ate dry and wet Blue Buffalo cat foods. She’s littertrained, used a hooded litterbox with clumping litter, and didn’t have accidents. She didn’t scratch anything.
INTAKE
Happy had a soft, relaxed body while she walked around the counter and the floor and while we pet her, scanned her (-), collared her, positioned her for pictures, picked her up, and put her in a carrier. She didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.
