Overweight. Observed Behavior – Approaches front of cage. Purring and head butting. Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen – no Objective T = P = 180 R = eup BCS= 7/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Marked gingivitis and moderate tartart L maxillary molars. PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: neutered male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, full hair coat but much dandruff, mild erythema and discharge around nail beds. CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Assessment: 5 yo MC DSH Overweight Gingivitis Plan: Dental not urgent. Monitor eating and drinking. At risk for hepatic lipidosis if not eating. Prognosis: Good
