1/21/18
Resting next to den, tense, eyes dilated. Hissed when spoken to. Ate offered treats, then retreated into den. Started hissing and deep growling when spoken to, tail lashing. Poked head out after a bit, eyes fully dilated, still vocalizing. Wouldn’t come all the way out.
1/22/18
In den on approach, peeking through side window, eyes dilated. Hissed when spoken to, then turned around and moved further into den, started growling. Briefly poked nose out to sniff offered treats, then retreated again and started striking den wall.
1/23/18
In den on approach, slowly came out when spoken to, eyes dilated. Came to front with further coaxing, sniffed hand between the bars. Sat in place when door opened, sniffed treats but didn’t eat. Leaned slightly away when attempted touch, slowly lifted paw, then abruptly struck assess-a-hand and started hissing and growling. Continued to sit in place after door closed, then retreated back into den when new person entered room.
1/24/18
In den on approach, tense, eyes dilated. Started grumbling when spoken to. Hissed and started deep growling when door opened, swatted through den window. Reached out and struck assess-a-hand when offered treats. Later, came out and played energetically when given catnip mouse.

Resting in cat bed next to den, eyes dilated, whiskers forward, wary. Sat up when door opened, shifted backwards. Leaned away from attempted touch, started tail flicking, then swatted assess-a-hand. Continued to sit in place after door closed, posture tense.
