10/16/16 16:29 Animal’s appearance – Kitten appeared to be clean and of healthy weight. Animal’s demeanor with you – Kitten allowed all handling. Client stated that he has a neighbor that allows her cats outdoors and he also believes there are just stray cats in the area. Basically, the cats have multiple and he stated these kittens just stay in his yard and he says they are sweet but he does not want the kittens and he wants to prevent the kittens from adding to the influx of cats when they get bigger.

Gymnastics came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Gymnastics was friendly and allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Gymnastics is at the front meowing. Reaction when softly spoken to: Gymnastics stays in the front, soft meow. Reaction to cage door opening: Gymnastics remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Gymnastics solicits petting an attention. Reaction to pick up: Gymnastics is calm and allows handling. Placement Determination: Beginner Gymnastics interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Gymnastics is exhibiting behavior appropriate for new cat parents.
