11/11/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/11/16 10:05 Gryla A1096510 is a young female torbie DSH feline who was trapped in the finder’s residence. They aren’t interested in keeping her as they bring in cats they trap. Due to Gryla being trapped the finder didn’t handle her. During intake Gryla was transferred into a freeman net for her exam. She allowed to be scanned (-) while she was in the net. Due to her behaviors of hissing, swatting at times and attempting to flee I was unable to collar her or take her picture on the backdrop. Once placed into her kennel Gryla retreated to the back.

11/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Gryla looks tense, crouched position on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Gryla retreats to the back, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Gryla avoids contact and attempts to escape the cage. Placement determination: NH ONLY Gryla is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
