SAFE 3/25/18 **FIV POSITIVE** Gracio is a friendly, affectionate kitty who’s allowed all handling while at the Brooklyn Care Center. Gracio is a 8 year old brown tabby ear tipped neutered cat who was surrendered by his owner due to pet conflict in the home. The owner stated that she rescued Gracio 3 months ago from the street. He is FIV positive, and has a history of some gastrointestinal issues. This sweet kitty needs a furever home where he can get some TLC.

Confident and relaxed. He comes forward, tail raised, leans in to sniff my hand. Very affectionate- gives head butts, chirps and is curious of his surroundings. Didn’t mind being picked up. Doing great!

Owner stated that overall Gracio behaves well. On the way to the ACC in the car he was quiet. Gracio will tolerate being bathed and brushed. When having his nails trimmed he will struggle to get away. Gracio isn’t bothered if he is held put in a carrier or disturbed while he sleeps.

For a New Family to Know
Owner described Gracio as friendly affectionate and playful. When at home he likes to be in the same room as his owner. Gracio likes to play with wand toys and balls. He has been kept indoors only for the past 3 months. Gracio eats both wet and dry food. He is used to a hooded litter box with clumping litter. Gracio scratches on a post made out of rough rope.
Behavior Notes:
During intake Gracio allowed the counselor to collar him and take his picture with no problems.
