**SAFE 07/02/16** Sweet little GOOKY is a gorgeous female spayed tortie. She’s around 5 years old. Her previous owner died and she lived in a relative’s home for a few months, but the relative brought her to the shelter because she had “no time” for GOOKY. Poor girl! GOOKY is open to affection. She lets herself be pet and picked up. She’s a talker and a cutie! She has had some litter box issues but was never brought to a vet to find out what was causing them. A volunteer writes: “Gooky’s name does not do her justice, for she is a lovely tortie with sweet big yellow eyes which you can’t help fall in love with. She is a little shy and needs some time to warm up, but she is a sweet girl. I believe she needs a home where the family will understand her timidness and give her the time that she needs so she can blossom into the wonderful kitty that she really is.” GOOKY is a darling kitty with a silly name and a soft purr! She would make a wonderful pet for an average pet home!!! But she’s on the list for lethal injection tomorrow. Please save the life of GOOKY and foster or adopt this lovely little kitty today!!!
