GIUSEPPE – A1082423
Safe - 7-31-2016 Manhattan
***SAFE 07/31/16*** What is orange and white and hates being at the ACC? Easy answer-all the cats and dogs there now especially little 1 year old Giuseppe. Brought in as a stray, this little girl is not a fan of the assessor. They tried to coax her out of her cat den to be petted. She came out slowly , probably out of fear that if she didn’t, her life would end even sooner. They feel that she should go to an adult home because of her fearful behavior which might be from being in the shelter? Hmm…probably correct! Please apply to adopt or rescue this green-eyed beauty tonight!

07/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Giuseppe looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Giuseppe remains in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Giuseppe accepts the stroke, but slowly leans away and body tightly stiffens up during the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Giuseppe tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
